Started listening last night and really enjoyed the first episode. Just wanted to pitch in that I always thought of Dr. Langstrom (in the cartoon, at least) as a drug addict. While his original intentions for taking the serum remain unknown, I suspect that they were mostly benign. That is to say, I don't think he set out with the intention to rob Big Pharma and toss people out windows. But the transformations degraded his reasoning and basically brought out the worst him in him, in much the same way a heroine addict will be increasingly willing to commit criminal acts in order to get the next fix. After Batman captured Man-Bat and gave him the antidote, Langstrom is now ready to begin the recovery process.
